Introvert Whisperer / 5 Tips to be successful at online training - Introvert Whisperer 5 Tips to be successful at online training Ugh, Another online training, You have said it thousand times and you are going to say it every time you hear about new online training your company is forcing you to do. Nobody likes to do them but the fact is that you have to do them. Online training has replaced traditional instructor-led trainings where you had to spend time in a classroom with an instructor to learn new skills. They are cost efficient since they are hosted on a learning management system which can be accessed from any place at anytime by employees. But at the end of the day, no one really likes to do computer based trainings. So to keep you motivated, we gathered some essential tips that you can use.   It’s planned for your success: Companies spend time and money with their human resource departments to create online content for your trainings. These trainings are directly related to your job responsibilities and once you become certified, you are better informed about how different processes work within your company. Consider an online course about basic rules and regulations of a company you are joining. In this online course, you will learn what you need to wear every day, how to work with a new tool or learning the safety guidelines that are necessary for any work environment. So that’s your motivation. Doing these courses will help be at par with your colleagues who also have done the same courses and will be using their newly acquired knowledge at the workplace. Find out how it’s relevant to your job and how it will help you in future: When you first find out that you have to complete a training, you should look into its relevance to your job. One of the foremost reasons why employees hate online trainings is that they simply don’t know why they are doing it. Why would you want to do something that is not remotely connected to your job? So to keep yourself motivated, go through the content and see why it is related to your job and how you could utilize it in your job. For instance, you are in digital marketing, maybe the training assigned to you offers you insight into the new algorithm of Facebook. So as soon as you login into your online training software, make sure you find out how it is important for your job. Reward yourself for successful completion: We are love to get rewarded and when it comes to your online training, once you complete it think about rewarding yourself. Stop the training, give yourself a few minutes break and come back to it later. The point is that you need to be motivated for a mandatory training course and visualizing a reward for yourself for completing it is a great motivator. If you are stuck ask for help: One of the reasons why people skip training or don’t complete it is when they are stuck in something difficult. Either they are too shy to ask for help or simply think its too much of a bother. But here’s the thing you can ask for help.   Simply write to your instructor or chat online with them directly through the online training software you are using. Instructors love to talk to trainees and offer insights and deep details that can help you overcome your challenges. It’s only natural to feel more motivated to complete a task when you know everything about it. So always ask for help to make sure your complete your training effectively. Focus on the present: When you look at online trainings, you come up with a variety of reasons why you shouldnt do them. Your workload, its relevance to your job and many other reasons pop up in your mind. Here’s the most important tip focus on the present. When you are assigned a training, it is for a reason. A training can be for compliance, new rules at your workplace or maybe a new skill that you will be needing in near future, so you have to be motivated to do it. Take German Courses at AS A Level ChaptersBenefits Of Studying Towards A German AS and A LevelCurriculum At A GlanceExam boardsUsing Past Papers For RevisionCareer Prospects For German StudentsWhile a German A Level can at times be taken without prior experience, chances are that most pupils who decide to study German at AS and A Level will have spent the two years previous to that learning the language. For them, AS and A Level German will take them to the next level of language learning and, in this higher class, they will begin to explore more complex linguistic properties while placing themselves in more advanced scenarios and settings. Many students who chose to study German at GCSE back in Year 9, whether on a whim or because they had a goal in mind for acquiring this particular language, will probably have come to realise that they actually found it surprisingly easy! While German is relatively similar to English, it naturally has a very unique make-up and its own set of exceptions to grammatical rules to master. As such, the longer you spend learning the language at school, the better your grammar and vocabulary will become. You may have been surprised at how easy you found German at GCSE level. The focus that all AS and A Level specifications put upon the various ways of communicating makes more effective communicators of these language pupils.Through the understanding of culture in Germany and other German-speaking countries, students will be motivated to grow more curious about the language and its heritage and thus encourage interest to keep them engaged with lessons. It is this enthusiasm that will enable a language learner to be more proficient and to start to think about broadening their skills either through further education or by embracing opportunities to travel. Some schools or colleges may offer you the chance to visit a German-speaking country or to take part in an exchange programme, both of which will give you an opportunity to excel your language skills.A school trip or exchange can really boost your language skills. The qualification offered by AQA is linear, which means that students sit their exams at the end of the course. Therefore, pupils will be assessed for the AS Level at the end of Year 12 and for A Level in Year 13.OCRAs with AQA, OCR is currently reforming its qualifications in line with the government programme of general qualification reform. While AQA has developed a new syllabus for German at AS and A Level, OCR has decided not to redevelop this specification and, as such, the final assessment opportunity for these courses (H076 and H476) will be summer 2017 and the re-sits taking place in summer 2018.The purpose of the course is to give candidates a good grounding in all aspects of the language and culture of Germany, with the aim of enhancing speaking, listening, reading and writing skills within German. With just one written assessment and speaking test at each level, the course’s examination methods are straightforward and cut the burden and stress on pupils. There is no coursework required on this course.EdexcelEdexcel has developed a new accredited specification in German. The newly constructed syllabus includes cultural content designed to engage and inspire students while also offering pupils the chance to read and learn about German Literature to further enhance their languag e skills. As previously mentioned, many AS Level pupils will have completed a GCSE qualification in the language therefore this course supports the progression from GCSE level and encourages students to develop and use the transferrable skills already gained as part of their previous german lessons.WJECWJEC provides an exciting opportunity for German beginners to build on their knowledge of the language through social, intellectual and cultural themes. The course is designed to develop a better understandimg of linguistic properties and to provide a deeper comprehension of the culture of Germany and German-speaking countries. As with the new Edexcel specification, students enrolled on the WJEC German AS and A Level course will be given the opportunity to study literature and film to increase their cultural awareness and with the objective of encouraging fluency in the language.Being taught since 2016, WJEC offers these AS Level and A Level qualifications, which have been accredited by OFQUAL, on the basis that prior learning has taken place in the form of a GCSE or equivalent qualification.Using Past Papers For RevisionAs with GCSE, AS and A Level German exam papers from previous years can be downloaded by going to the dedicated area on your exam board’s website. While you are very welcome to look at and even attempt past papers from exam boards other than your own, you must remember that your particular exam may not be structured in the same way and therefore could be marked quite differently. Saying that, all revision and practice can be worthwhile. One way to avoid any confusion when it comes to the assessment of your exams is to check the markI got scheme related to your specification. How to Practice Spanish When Youre Pressed for Time

How to Practice Spanish When You’re Pressed for Time Maile Proctor Think youre too busy to practice Spanish? With these time-management tips from language teacher Lauren P., youll be able to study Spanish even when youre short on time Learning Spanish can seem difficult when you’re pressed for time. No matter how busy you are, however, you can find 15 minutes a day to practice. These tips will help you budget your time so you can fit Spanish practice into your busy schedule. Set Up a Routine The only way to commit to anything is to make it part of your daily routine. You dont think about cooking, showering, or working ahead of time because these things are already part of your daily routine. Set your alarm a few minutes early, or decide when and how you can make good use of your time. Reduce the time you spend online, watching television, or chatting with friends. When youre relaxing at home watching TV, watch  the Spanish Channel instead. If you subscribe to certain premium channels, you can even watch some of your favorite movies in Spanish. Since you already know the plot, youll find yourself translating scenes and picking up new words and phrases. Stop convincing yourself that you dont have time; schedule Spanish practice as a non-negotiable part of your day. Learn Spanish Like a Native Speaker The best way to learn a language is the same way as the native speakers. As a child, you learned  vocabulary, verb conjugations, and grammar rules by listening to fluent speakers. Eventually, you became confident enough to start speaking yourself. The complexity of your vocabulary and sentence structure grew gradually over time. The same process works when youre learning Spanish. While most schools and Spanish learning programs promote memorization of study guides, its actually more effective and efficient to practice Spanish through real-life conversations. You can do this by making up realistic sentences and questions, or recording real-life sentences throughout your day. Translate these sentences to Spanish and say them out loud. You can also use any study guide or Spanish website to review related Spanish nouns, or learn to conjugate Spanish verbs. Then, make up realistic sentences with these words. Since you want to avoid incorrect translations, its essential to meet with a private tutor who can ensure you translate sentences correctly. Learn Spanish on the Go If you really dont have time to sit down and practice Spanish, you can practice on the go. How much time do you spend walking, driving, sitting on the train, or waiting in line? While walking or commuting, tune into one of hundreds of Spanish radio stations or podcasts, like SpanishPod101. By simply listening to native Spanish speakers, youll learn pace, accent, and pronunciation, while picking up common words and phrases. If you take the train or bus to school or work, read the Spanish version of your favorite books. Since you know the basic plot, youll be able to translate certain words and phrases. Download an App You probably spend idle time texting friends or using mobile apps. Make the most of your time and download  Duolingo or another language learning app. You will feel like youre playing a game as you progress through increasingly difficult levels of Spanish. Any time youre waiting around or on the go, you can be productive with Spanish apps, books, podcasts and websites. You will be amazed how much Spanish you can learn even when youre away from home. By practicing like a native Speaker and incorporating Spanish into your day, you can make Spanish practice part of your routine. Now you just need to hold yourself accountable. Ready to get started? You can download online sample tests free of charge or you can purchase an unmarked copy of the Official SAT Study Guide by paying very nominal charges. You can also go for previous versions of SAT preparation books. These practice tests will make you understand your improvement. Always focus on active reading High school students who are strong readers do better on the reading sections of the test. You need to practice active reading, i.e. reading short articles focusing on a topic. Focus of new words coming across; test your vocabulary and logic of a sentence. Check for basic grammar, pronouns, and sentence structure or readability problem of any word, if any. Leave nothing blank in any multiple choice questions You should never leave any multiple choice question blank in the test. Generally, the one who instinctively guesses the question scores a slight more as compared to the student leaving the choice blank. Also, deductions for wrong answers will hardly affect the score as it gets rounded up. So, believe in your instinct and don’t leave anything blank. Know your math Thoroughly practice entire principles of Algebra and Geometry. You need to practice the main concepts of arithmetic and how to apply these concepts. You should know the correct approach to solve the problems. Unfortunately, if you stuck in any problem then don’t leave it like that. Try to find hidden patterns in the questions.  Use mature sounding words and phrases Experts suggest that you should always try to exhibit varied, accurate, and skillful use language in your essays. Always note down and review words which you think can be incorporated into your essays. You can also look up and make a list of words that you don’t know.
